Shaishai (the “App”) is a local-first information filtering tool. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
1. We do not collect your personal data
The App does not require an account, display advertising, or use third-party analytics or advertising tracking services. We do not collect, sell, or transmit your personal information, usage history, links, notes, tags, or sorting results to third parties.
2. Your content stays on your devices
Links, notes, tags, sorting status, and outputs that you save in the App are stored locally on your device and in the App Group shared storage used by the main App, Share Extension, and widgets.
If you choose to export a backup or Markdown file, you decide where to save it and who to share it with. The App does not upload exported files on your behalf.
3. Web links you choose to save
When you save a web link, the App may request the public page title or summary from that website so it can display the saved item. This request is made from your device. The website may process standard network information under its own privacy policy.
4. Notifications and widgets
The App sends local daily reminders only after you grant permission. You can disable notifications at any time in the App or in iOS Settings.
Widgets read only the necessary content from the App’s local shared storage to display your current focus. They do not upload your content to a server.
5. External links
The App may contain links to websites that you save or to this support site. Once you visit an external website, its content and privacy practices are controlled by that website.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Updates and contact
